How did an online course impact my life personally and professionally? Empowering me with knowledge that even experienced licensed Physical Therapists do not understand. What?!? No joke. I found my reason to be passionate within the PT profession rather than doing what average people do… like turning a blind eye and binge watching shows on Netflix. I have a much better understanding about what my value will be when I graduate and where I want to go. Last but definitely not least, I found a group of winners who get it. But most of all, you can have all of this too.
Quick disclaimer: I personally do not judge people differently based on whether or not you are pursuing interests similar to mine. You do not have to do any of the online courses that I have done, go to the conferences I have been to, or participate in any services that I will (or already do) provide. I am simply sharing my experiences for free and hoping that you obtain some concrete value out of it. Most of all, I am showing the doors for various things that may interest you but that type of decision is ultimately yours. Hopefully something resonates with you. You are more than welcome to explore all the content that I put out because that’s exactly why I put stuff out there! As always, feel free to reach out if you have any questions or comments! That being said… don’t hesitate to level up!

SSPT (Smart Success Physical Therapy) was more than modules. It was an experience. Ever thought about consulting? Telehealth? Opening up your own practice? Wellness programs? Marketing? How about those student loans? Financial debt? All of these bases were covered and I didn’t even consider most of these when I decided to take the leap of faith. Although it felt like it at the time, it wasn’t that much of a leap. Why? Because Greg Todd spits fire on the regular. Don’t believe me? Watch this!
This isn’t the only legendary live video he has done. GT is the king of marketing within the PT profession… yet he was willing to share with me the tools of the trade. The craziest part? GT is a “bachelor’s dude” yet he is more of a doctor for musculoskeletal conditions than anyone I ever met. Mind you, my mom is a nurse and I had plenty of exposure to the hospital setting. On top of that, I’ve known about PT all my life because of my brachial plexus injury. One of the most frustrating things while growing up was the invisibility of PT despite everything else keeping up with the times in techy SF Bay Area. Times are changing fast. Healthcare reimbursements certainly aren’t trending up but the number of years of education and student debt are surely increasing. The best way to thrive in this digital era is being teachable and open to change.
I am extremely fortunate to have Greg as a mentor. I can only speak about my experience but you can benefit too, especially if you have the desire to grow. If anything that I discussed resonates with you, then learn more about SSPT.
Most of all, what exactly do I mean when I say the group is filled with winners? How can they feel like family? Check out the link below to see and hear for yourself about what they have to say.
Lastly, below is my personal “why” video about pursuing a career in PT.
